Sr. Security Engineer

Job Description

An online retail employer is hiring for a Senior Security Engineer I. This resource will ensure all production security controls and technologies operate in compliance with all established policies and SLA's across all aspects of the security operating framework. They will also assist their leadership with ensuring all security tools and technologies are properly supported, implemented and sufficiently meet the needs for which they are deployed to protect the companies confidential and proprietary data.

Skills and Requirements

5 Years sitting in a security and incident response environment

Scripting expierence in Python, PowerShell, or similar language

Demonstrates proficiency in network security concepts (TCP/IP , DNS , Firewall, routers, switches etc)

Recent expierence in responding to user based alerts, phishing alerts, EDR, Ddos and 3rd party compromise alerts. Backround in computer forensics.

Bachelor degree in field of engineering, computer science or equivalent work expierence.

Relevant Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP or GIAC null
