Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Software engineer to join the Middleware team of a large beverage client in St. Louis, MO (3 days onsite required). There are a total of 23 applications this team is converting from Mulesoft, with a project deadline of EOY. This role will have close to six applications of various size to integrate from Mule into DataDog.

Daily Duties

• Using .NET for Integrations

• Identify and communicate risks (business, application, technical) associated with middleware components or application implementation to senior leadership.

·Develop new integrations, enhance, and migrate existing Mulesoft integrations to modern enterprise integration platform.

·Building and Bridging API's

·The right individual would need to have a development background and be responsible for the right sizing, implementation of, and management of the data integrations, including performance

Skills and Requirements

• Excellent technical foundation in .NET

• Experience with MuleSoft API management platform

• Excellent understanding of API & Integration patterns and secure API development practices

• Candidate should have the ability to communicate complex models and analysis in a clear and precise manner

• Experience in architectural concepts for MuleSoft implementations including encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability and clustering

• Strong hands on experience developing Web Services REST API, XML and JSON · DataDog

• Knowledge of AZURE and ADF would be a huge plus

• Open telemetry- logging and monitoring null
