Structural Engineer E.I.T. Or P.E.

Our company is a research and consulting firm that provides a wide range of support to federal, state, and commercial clients. Our company offers multidisciplinary teams with nationally recognized skills in engineering, science, economics, public health, informational technology, and communications. They are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to develop structural designs for renovations and upgrades to existing buildings at a federal site in Indian Head, MD.

This position will be hybrid at the federal site in Indian Head, MD and will include interaction and support from personnel at the federal site, as well as from our offices in Chantilly and Arlington, VA.

They were recently awarded the Energetic Comprehensive Modernization Plan which encompasses modernization of the Indian Head base designed to enhance the Navy's capacity for munitions production, addressing immediate demands and preparing for future surge and replenishment needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field

• A minimum of 5 years experience required, 10+ years is preferred

• Professional Engineer License is preferred, but not required

• At least 5 years of experience with designing structural components for industrial or commercial buildings (Vertical Structures)

• Experience working with AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Ability to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Must currently hold OR be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
