Job Title: Full Stack Developer (JavaScript, React, Node, SQL)

Location: 100% Remote (Must work pacific standard time hours)

Pay Range: $60.00 - 65.00 per hour on W2 commensurate upon experience

What's the Job?

Full Stack Developer with expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, React, Spring, Node, GraphQL or similar technologies. You will perform new design/enhancements and development in the higher education technology sector. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that can identify and resolve issues autonomously and collaboratively at the appropriate times. The candidate must have extensive experience developing scalable software that utilizes cloud-based services and client/server architecture that includes API design, security protocols such as OIDC or SAML and infrastructure as code concepts.

Responsibilities

• Front end development using a variety of modern technologies

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable React components

• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

• Take ownership of existing build and deployment pipelines

• Develop unit testing modules including Cypress and Postman.

• Coordinate and communicate with remote team members in an Agile development environment

Critical Skills and Qualifications

• JavaScript

At least one testing framework

• GIT

• Ability to leverage infrastructure-as-code tooling for repeatable configuration

• across dev, staging, and production environments

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance

• Highly productive in a remote-work environment

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• DevOps experience and tools: Jenkins, Rancher, Node JS

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

• Strong knowledge of web development and security OWASP top 10

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Familiarity with AWS and tools: S3, DynamoDB

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

• Familiarity with Gatsby, Strapi, Apollo GraphQL, Storybook and Keycloak
