    We are seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) anti-ballistic missile system project in Huntsville, AL. This position requires on-site work to be performed in Huntsville, AL. There are no remote work options.

    As the Verification Lead of the Model Based Systems Engineering team on the GWS A&D team, you will guide a team of engineers on the development of the verification objectives and success criteria related to program requirements, according to the program processes and procedures and customer need. You will interact daily with engineers of various levels, provide direction, support verification development efforts, and support leadership in building and maintaining development schedules/roadmaps and reporting progress and roadblocks to the Product Line Owner (PLO) and/or Deputy PLO for the MBSE team.

    Requirements :

    • Current active US DoD Secret Security clearance is required

    • BS in STEM degree, focus on Systems Engineering and minimum 10 Years of Experience, or 8 Years of Experience and a Masters' degree within a STEM field

    Subject Matter Expertise in

    • Writing and Reviewing Decomposing Requirements

    • Working in and with DOORS to document Requirements

    • Writing and Reviewing Verification Objectives for developed Requirements, to include Success Criteria

    • Proven ability to synthesize data from tests and analysis into easily digestible results for Verification of Requirements

    • Proven experience maintaining, tracking, reporting, and briefing metrics to customer and program leadership stakeholders

    • Experience coordinating efforts across multiple teams and individuals based on leadership priorities

    • Mentoring and cross-training junior engineers in analysis work, reviews, and approving their analysis results to meet customer requirements

    • Experience/exposure to SysML modeling tools, such as Cameo

    • Familiarity with GWS, GMD, or other Missile Defense System

    • Familiarity with Principles of Systems Engineering

    • Ability to communicate data in a clear and concise manner

    • Proven experience leading a small team, including task and schedule planning, to meet major project milestone objectives

    • Established experience in an Agile Development environment

    • Ability to demonstrate self-initiative, team player, multi-tasking, and produce quality work products independently

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) work products and Core Standard

    • Advanced experience working in the CAMEO Modeling tool and how it interacts with DOORS
