You will be part of a team that drives the Platform Architecture of a wide variety of products. Your work will ensure power, performance and thermal controls are robust and fully utilize the capabilities of the silicon and software stack to realize the best user experience.

    Key Qualifications

    • Experience with Python, JavaScript, Databases, C/C++ Experience deploying automation infrastructure

    • Knowledge of low-level firmware

    • Strong written and verbal communications skills

    • Solid understanding of UNIX-like operating systems

    • Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and innovate

    Description

    As a System Integration Architect you will be responsible for: - Ensuring Power, Performance and Thermal Control Architectures are robust. - Realizing the intent of the Architectures in Products used by our customers. - Driving improvements in the Architectures generation-over-generation. - Developing and executing architectural verification and validation plans that surface flaws early in the development cycle. - Working closely with cross functional teams specify, architect and develop the telemetry required for fast debug. - Develop automation scripts that can be deployed widely for testing, data collection and analysis. - Setup hardware environments and operate test equipment needed for system integration testing.

    Education & Experience

    BS and a minimum of 20 years relevant industry experience. MS in CS, CE or EE is preferred.

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
