    System of Systems Interface Analyst

    Develop the Army's Next Generation Sensor!

    ABOUT THIS POSITION

    Join a dynamic team of talented and inspired engineers developing a new US Army radar system. This program integrates state-of-the-art sensor technology with existing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, and requires understanding of Radar systems and theory, performance data analysis experience, and hardware background. Candidates require strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support modeling and simulation, test planning and support, and data analysis and reporting. Candidates will work with Fire Control and System of System (SoS) Integration teams to identify SoS parameters and the impacts of those parameters to each component system (e.g. LTAMDS, IBCS, and Patriot). Additionally, candidate will have the opportunity to directly support the Warfighter through defense design/deployment planning. You will interface directly with the Government customer and contractor subject matter experts regularly. 20% travel for meetings and test events will be required.

    The ideal candidate should be a problem-solver, resourceful, independently motivated and detail oriented, willing to travel, and work in the office every day. The position requires good time management capabilities and communication skills and computer skills.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (electrical, software, computer, etc.) or other STEM related fields (physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) with 3+ years of experience.

    • Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas: radar hardware, radar architecture, signal processing, scenario generation, systems integration and test to include validation and verification.

    • Working knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, and Python.

    • Candidate must be a US Citizen.

    • Possess or be able to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

    • Able to travel about 20% of the time.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience directly supporting a Government customer.

    • Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on prescribed schedules.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge.
