    Server Engineer at Local Managed Services

    Our client is a small, bustling managed services company based in Madison, WI. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Server Engineer to join our team of 12 dynamic professionals. Our work environment is fast-paced and versatile, with no two days being the same.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Leverage extensive Linux capabilities in systems engineering duties.

    • Administer Unify, Juniper, Microtik, and MDM as per our clients' varying requirements.

    • Offer Windows-based Linux server-side support.

    • Assist in the delegation of tasks currently undertaken by the Director so they can focus more on strategic planning.

    • Team up with our community of tech-savvy professionals and make valuable contributions.

    Requirements

    • Proven record of experience in Unify, Linux, Juniper, Microtik, and MDM.

    • Well-versed in Windows-based Linux server-side operations.

    • Superb team player with the motivation to take initiatives and work autonomously.

    • Flexible and adaptable to changing client requirements.

    Desired: Proficiency in MacOS would be a plus.

    This is a contract to full-time role that is onsite 5 days per week in Madison, WI.

    Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineering role or a related field

    • Proficiency in Linux, Linux System Administration, and Linux Technologies

    • Familiarity with Juniper, including Juniper Routers, Juniper Networks, and Juniper Switches

    • Knowledge of MDM Technologies

    • Experience in Systems operations and Systems hardware

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
