Systems Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer for a customer in the Detroit area. The Systems Engineer is a key role within the engineering team, focused requirements analysis, decomposition and allocation in addition to architecture development employing SysML modeling in order to deliver the highest levels of performance to the platform and crew for the Next Generation Combat Vehicle/Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (NGCV/OMFV) program.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering

• 3-5 years experience in systems engineering on DoD programs

• Experience presenting technical solutions to internal stakeholders

• Experience with configuration control and baseline management

• Experience in Requirements development

• Experience using SysML for system modeling - Currently holds or has the ability to obtain SECRET US Defense clearance desired

• Knowledge of Military Standards and regulations desired

• Familiarity with Systems Engineering Standards/Processes iaw ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288

• Direct experience using Magic Draw Cameo tool suite

• Direct experience using DOORS Next Gen null
