DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews, interprets, and effectively communicates technical requirements (engineering drawings, procedures, technical requirements, etc.) to develop detailed work authorizing documents to ensure the effective implementation of manufacturing, maintenance, testing, modifications, or repair tasks.
Tracks work authorization documents in support of manufacturing, processing, and testing activities to ensure assignment, timely release, and work order closure by maintaining accountability logs, records, and indices as required.
Coordinates with and provides assistance to the appropriate organizations for prompt resolution of work schedule, processing discrepancies, and work stoppages.
Supports the management of flight and training event schedules to ensure hardware is prepared and available to support all events.
Monitors flight and training hardware maintenance requirements and implement plans to perform preventative maintenance and ensure maintenance records are updated accordingly.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or a combined equivalent of education and experience
2-5 years' experience in technical writing, manufacturing, or production support, or a combined equivalent of education and experience
Experience reading and interpreting drawings and manufacturing/production instructions
Experience in aerospace industry, processes and practices strongly preferred
Ability to prioritize and multi-task on multiple projects
Ability to thrive in a fast environment and produce timely results
Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
Highly proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Essential Functions
Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
