Test Systems Technician Lead

We have an outstanding Contract position for aTest Systems Technician Leadto join a leading Company located in theDecatur, ALsurrounding area.

Responsibilities :

• Network

• Troubleshooting network connection issues

• Understanding of network pathing

• Understanding of network switch operation

• Test Systems

• Troubleshooting of Cognex and Keyence camera systems

• Understanding of flow testing principles (pressure decay, flow metered, etc)

• Troubleshooting of flow testing equipment (pneumatic and electrical)

• Troubleshooting of Sick area sensors

• Troubleshooting of PCB programming equipment (Segger)

• Understanding of testing principles (Wattage, Resistance, VARs, Integration, Hi-Pot)

• Understanding of Brilliant Factory test data

• Understanding of leak detection principles (gross leak, fine leak)

• Troubleshooting of Inficon leak detectors

• Understanding of test parameter change process (Model Editor)

• Pneumatics

• Troubleshooting of pneumatic systems

• Proficient schematic reading ability

• Electrical

• Troubleshooting of low-voltage systems

• Proficient schematic reading ability

• Understanding of safe electrical practices

• Refrigerator Function

• Understanding sealed systems function

• Understanding electrical systems function

• Understanding of electrical and sealed system repair procedures

• Proficient schematic reading ability

• Thermal Testing

• Understanding of Energy testing principles

• Understanding of data acquisition systems principles

• Structure Support

• Apply technical expertise in instrumentation and test software to set up instrumentation and fixturing to properly execute testing to internal and regulatory standards

• Work with Engineers to ensure understanding and proper execution of tests

• Interpret results and report findings to engineers and Lab Management?

• Maintain supplies, environment, and consumables to meet regulatory and lab policies

• Move engineering samples between the test area, preparation area, and storage areas

Basic Hiring Criteria :

• 2-year technical degree, military equivalent training, professional technical certification (4-year non-technical degree may be considered, assuming sufficient technical knowledge or experience)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical position

Desired Qualifications :

• Understanding of test equipment and instrumentation

• Able to troubleshoot test setup, confirm required accuracy is met, and knowledgeable of routine maintenance

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Attention to detail and time management skills to multitask to meet schedule

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

• Strong understanding of products (operation and failure modes)
