TSSCI Network Engineers

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for 2 Network Engineers to work the night shift at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA in support of one of their government customers to support a modernization initiative. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be trusted to review and evaluate IT infrastructure and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Designs, plans, and builds communications networks

• Configures Routers and Switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators

• Coordinates LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements

• Monitor the Network

• Maintain network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability

Skills and Requirements

Active TS/SCI (or TS with SCI eligibility)

Ability to work the Night Shift (10 hour shifts between 8pm 6 am, Monday - Thursday)

Bachelor's Degree in related field or comparable professional experience in lieu of a degree

5+ years of Networking experience

Experience with collecting legacy configuration data to develop new configurations for Life Cycle Replacement (LCR) devices.

Experiencing deinstalling Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and/or Aruba Routers and Switches

Experience developing, peer reviewing and installing updated / new configurations on Routers and Switches

Experience installing Routers and Switches

Experience with collecting post deployment configuration data to validate successful implementation

IAT level 2 Cert (i.e. Sec +/CE)

Hands on experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Arista and/or Aruba networking equipment

Ability to memorize at least two (2) six-digit combinations to access classified spaces

One of the following certifications: Brocade, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP) Aruba Certified (ACSA and/or ACSP)

Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Aruba Networking equipment

Demonstrated experience with implementation and or management of 802.1x protocol

Demonstrated experience with BGP peering

Demonstrated experience with implementation and or troubleshooting of both Layer 2 and Layer 3 network hardware

Demonstrated ability to work independently if required

Demonstrated ability to develop and assist in implementation of processes improvements null
