    Caterpillar is seeking a Workday Talent Cross Functional Architect to our Global HR Operations, Automation and Employee Support Division.     What you will do:

    • Configuring and testing business processes

    • Optimizing process design and tools to meet the changing needs of the business.

    • Working with other functions to design and prototype cross-functional solutions.

    • Participating in system testing to ensure the successful deployment of application enhancements and releases.

    • Investigating and resolving human resources technology issues, unexpected results, or process gaps.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration across the centers of excellence and enterprise is critical.

    • Knowledge of strategic intent of Human Resource activities, proven systems analysis, design, and problem-solving skills

    • Support development and management of the Human Resources Technology roadmap, including maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across Human Resources and the business.

    What you will have:

    Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan. Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan. Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.

    Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Demonstrates experience engendering collaborative processes that lead to problem solving and the achievement of business goals.

    Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. Advises on techniques to build rapport and commitment to common purpose.

    Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company. Participates in developing criteria for selecting data gathering and reporting tools and techniques for various projects.

    Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

    Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.

    Workday HCM: Knowledge of all the core concepts of Workday HCM; Ability to use Workday HCM for workforce planning as per the business needs. Collaborates to Strategize the Workday HCM implementation and adoption plan as per business goals.
