  • Responsibilities

    Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) provides centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPP's primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship's expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).

    The Data Administrator will facilitate activation of user accounts and granting necessary roles within SURFMEPP's maintenance management applications and execute and maintain the work file submission process within these applications.This work includes additional responsibilities such as (but not limited to):

    • Maintaining a collaborative relationship with various organizations to support application troubleshooting.

    • Ensuring SURFMEPP tools and practices comply with all IA requirements.

    • Supporting the Cyber Workforce Program Manager in developing and tracking Cyber workforce requirements and training.

    • Providing management and technical support to Command and Department strategic and tactical initiatives, in-service goals, and objectives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in database management or IT related field

    • 10 - 15 years of relevant professional experience

    • DOD SECRET Security Clearance

    • Experience managing personnel as a team leader or equivalent

    • Demonstrated experience in Navy project management or surface ship maintenance management

    Desired Qualifications

    • Use of MS Office Suite tools

    • Drafting and delivering technical presentations

    • Superior written and verbal communication skills to interact with Senior U.S. Navy personnel

    • Demonstrated engineering experience as Naval Officer or Senior Enlisted (Chief, Senior Chief or Master Chief)

    Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.

    USD $61,020.00 - USD $106,830.00 /Yr.
